Yeah i looked at it for a while and maul hits about 3 times for every 2 times the scimmy hits. It seems like maul would be better from those calculations but i guess i d really have to time how long it takes to kill 5 or so experiments with each to be sure.

The granite hammer is better though the cost difference between it makes it unattainable for most. The granite maul is a 2 handed maul and is part of the granite equipment set. It requires level 55 strength and level 55 attack to wield and is dropped exclusively by gargoyles slayer monsters which require 75 slayer to kill. The granite hammer is a warhammer dropped by the grotesque guardians that can be found on the slayer tower s rooftop.

I plan to only use these weapons for training so i just need help deciding which one is a better training weap. Players can use a granite clamp obtained from the bounty hunter store to cosmetically enhance the granite maul creating a granite maul or this only alters its appearance and becomes untradeable. In my oppinion the r scimmy is the better one because its faster then the 2h sword and you can wear a shield wich are necessary for dragon slaying etc but i thout that the rune 2h dide more damage. Rune scimitar is the best until 60 for a dragon scimitar yes.

But the maul averages 2 times as hard on experiments which is what i m training on. This causes it to become untradeable. I was wondering if getting a granite maul is worth the upgrade from a rune scimmy. I don t have a lot of money so the 35k investment would take a toll on my funds.
